Although we'll walk through code for the first commercially available dual lens based depth map processing APIs using the HTC M8, the concepts and code will still be applicable for related Android based projects such as Project Tango, Amazon's latest device, and more. Bring your devices and laptop for a hands on coding session! (loaners will be made available)

Dario Laverde, HTC

Dario Laverde is a senior developer evangelist at HTC. He has experience in software development for mobile, embedded, Web and enterprise. Among his various professional roles, he has worked as an Android instructor, consultant, Java architect, author and entrepreneur. Dario leads the NYC-GDG (Google Developer Group), the NYCJava JUG, and co-organizes the New York Android Developers Meetup. He also runs the New York City based skylight1 open-source Android projects group that is currently working on Android Wear and Google Glass projects.
